I've been up since 6:30 and I'm exhausted but I am so happy! Slowly I am beginning to overcome my fears one at a time (secretly I have a lot of them). I'm pretty sure my Father in Heaven is very much aware of me and what I need. Two weeks ago I got called to be in the Relief Society Presidency...talk about overwhelming! I feel like I'm so young and this calling was meant for the older more experienced women. I am really scared, but even over the last couple weeks I have begun to understand his plan in all this. It's a pretty beautiful experience to watch yourself grow and do things you never thought possible.
I'm pretty grateful to know that He is there to help me become more like him everyday.
Last week I sat in Sunday school and a man approached me. He asked me what I graduated in...I assumed he already knew by the look he was giving me. After I explained he told me they needed a vocal coach at the high school to help kids on the side. They are apparently the most accomplished choir in the state. He offered to get me a foot in the door. At this point I wouldn't care if they didn't pay me because it would be an invaluable experience. Who knows if anything will come of it...either way I'm excited for the future possibilities.
Last week there was supposed to be a large storm headed our way. They even predicted snow! The afternoon before "the storm" our apartment send out warnings. They wanted us to drip our faucets, keep our heat high, and make sure to be careful on the stairs. They came through and dumped a load of sand to melt this ice which still remains at my front door and down the stair well. Paul got sent home from work early and was told not to come in the next day. The clouds came and went and sadly there was no snow. Around here snow is a BIG deal!

I miss you too! I'm glad the jeans fit!
I hope the high school job comes through, that would be exciting!
Wow! God does know each of us and what we need. I am so excited for you. My little sister is growing up and I am SO proud of you. I love you! And I wish I could be one of your high school students... :)
Great news! You would be a terrific coach. Great picture of you and your sisters. Love you.
