Audrey's Princess Party

Today was Audrey's Party.  She's been talking about it for weeks, "Tea Party with my friends Mama?"  Well today was the big day.  Her uncle Grant drove clear from San Antonio to see her on her special day. I kept telling her that when he got here that we would have her party.  She was so happy to see him this morning.
I've never seen her smile so big for so long. I got her ready just before the party started.  We stopped to take some pictures and she was being such a stinker, she refused to look at me.  I'm still amazed that we got anything.  It's a good thing I had Grant here to help me get her to smile.  I finished her cake (pink with pink sprinkles as per her request) and she told me she wanted to eat it.  She wasn't happy when I told her she had to wait for her friends.  Waiting is hard for a 3 year old.
Her party went perfectly.  Her friends/cousins were so sweet to bring her gifts.  She got a lot of princess stuff from Ezra which she carried around in a bag all day today.  No one could touch anything.  She got a camera from Jane and Dean which she was really excited about when we got it up and running.  She's taking pictures like her Mama now.  I'm excited to see what she does with it.
I love this little girl so much.  I can't believe that she is 3.  I still can hardly believe that I'm a Mom and yet I have a 3 year old.  She is so sweet.  She loves to snuggle.  She loves to read books.  She loves princesses and dressing up like princesses.  She constantly refers to herself as princess Audrey.  She sings 24/7....it almost never stops.  She loves to cook, in her kitchen and in mine.  She loves to watch Cinderella, Frozen, Mickey Mouse Club House, and Sophia the First.  She loves to be chased and to dance.  She always pulling me into the living room to dance with her.  She's the best thing that has ever happened to us.  Happy Birthday baby girl!

Singing....I told you it never stops.

I wish we could have been there but it was fun to share the event on FaceTime. Everyone went all out on the costumes - so cute.
