We thought it was pretty cool that the local university rents boats and canoes to the public. It was beautiful on the water. Audrey was really excited about paddling. She actually did really well. We were lucky to pass by some Canadian Geese and a turtle who didn't want us to get too close. It reminded me just a little bit about canoeing down Wakiva in Orlando with my family....only without the Alligators. I was content to sit there, relax, and breathe in the cool air.
We had so much fun and Audrey found a love of paddling. She kept commenting on how beautiful the water lilies were. I couldn't help but get her one. It didn't last very long but it brought so much joy while it did.
