Sunday in Seattle

On Sunday we visited a local ward, spent sometime talking with family, visited Paul's Uncle who lives in Seattle, saw Seattle's mini Panama Canal, and watched Salmon climb a ladder of water to get to the other side of the bay.
Paul's Uncle was super sweet to let us be apart of his families Sunday morning.  He made Audrey her favorite food....pancakes and talked jobs with Paul, his wife shared her raspberries, and talked with us about what it was like to live in Seattle.  I was fun to get to know a part of Paul's family a little better.  I have met his uncle before but it was fun having another visit.
Paul enjoyed explaining what was happening to Audrey as we watched the canal fill with water so that the ships could pass to the other side.  She seemed pretty happy to learn from him.
I've never seen Salmon jump so watching them jump over and over to get to the next section of water was pretty awesome.  Halfway through watching them somebody pointed out the Sea Lion waiting in one of the sections, eating each fish that swam by.  It was an unlucky day for the Salmon.
