We went in search of lighthouses hoping to find one that we could look at up close. We had no such luck. We could have taken a ferry to one of the islands and found one there but apparently they are closed to the public during the week. We found one but we had to scale a bunch of rocks to get a picture without the fence in front of it. It was fun seeing a lighthouse for the first time but I was kind of bummed about their strict visiting hours. Instead we decided to check out low tide again. This time we were a little less successful. It turned out that the first time we went was perfect timing.
So instead of searching for marine life we threw rocks into the ocean, marked the tide as it got lower, Audrey pick some rocks for her rock collection, and of course we had to do a little twirling as well. Afterward we stopped at a burger place right on the coast. The food was pretty amazing and there was a pretty good view to go with it.
